About This Role
- Implement, optimize, and automate enterprise database technologies including Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate, Postgres, and SQL Server both on-premises and in Azure Cloud.
- Maintain and enhance database platforms focusing on performance tuning, upgrades, clustering, redundancy, and disaster recovery to meet business demands.
- Provide highest level technical expertise and escalation for database technologies; liaise with end users and developers for mission-critical application support.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in Linux/Unix platforms such as RHEL, Solaris, or AIX.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Oracle Golden Gate, Postgres, SQL Server, and Azure cloud databases.
- Experience with SQL query tuning, index optimization, and performance tuning of databases and applications.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in relevant enterprise database and cloud technologies environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience executing and delivering database infrastructure projects with planning and adherence to deadlines.
- Strong expertise in managing clustered and high availability systems in enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Capable of communicating technical design trade-offs to both technical and executive stakeholders effectively.
