Install, configure, and maintain middleware technologies including performance tuning, upgrades, clustering, redundancy, and disaster recovery to meet business needs.
Act as the highest technical escalation point and subject matter expert for middleware technologies, providing consultation and liaison support for mission critical applications.
Develop and enforce standards for middleware installation, maintenance, and enhancement; provide guidance and cross-training to team members.
Minimum Requirements
3-5 years experience supporting enterprise middleware technologies (AWS MQ, IBM MQ/MQFTE, Apache Tomcat, Web services, Application Servers, IBM WTX) in a production IT environment.
Experience executing projects with planning and completing on schedule including enterprise middleware and cloud tech implementations.
Experience with middleware performance tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and managing third party solution providers.
Skillset required includes AWS MQ, IBM MQ/MQFTE, Apache Tomcat, Web services, IBM WTX middleware technologies, IT Support Operations, and team leadership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing high availability and clustered middleware infrastructure in enterprise environments.
Capable of translating complex middleware design trade-offs to both technical and executive audiences.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members while managing multiple technical projects in middleware operations.
