About This Role
- Develop and maintain Thomson Reuters Foundation's WordPress websites, including custom themes and content features under Lead Web Developer guidance.
- Write clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP; support bug resolution, testing, and feature implementation.
- Contribute to front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like React; manage version control with Git; maintain documentation and participate in QA processes.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
- 2-4 years of relevant web development experience.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; some experience or ability to learn PHP and WordPress development.
- Hybrid work mode with 2-3 days weekly office presence; shift timing 10am to 7pm IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with WordPress theme/plugin development, including Gutenberg blocks or Advanced Custom Fields preferred.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and version control tools like GitHub.
- Comfortable working in a small, multi-disciplinary team, quickly learning new technologies and adhering to coding standards and security practices.
