About This Role
- Plan and define test strategies and scope based on analysis of business and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases covering functional, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and support release validation and quality risk management.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (Playwright preferred).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript) and experience with API testing tools and SQL for database validation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers and product owners.
- Strong technical skills in automation framework development and integration with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with modern test automation, API testing frameworks, and experience in quality risk assessment and mentoring junior team members.
