About This Role
- Lead and mentor software engineers in delivering and executing products including pricing and offer systems on the core commerce platform.
- Set technical architectural direction and design API-level specifications in collaboration with solution architects and cross-functional teams.
- Provide technical leadership across implementation, integration, testing, operations, and sustainability of complex Java-based services and user interfaces including digital optimization of web and mobile apps.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with full stack expertise in Java, Spring Framework, SQL and NoSQL databases.
- 7+ years managing engineering and technology delivery teams, including globally distributed teams using Agile methodologies.
- Experience developing cloud native applications, preferably in AWS, and working knowledge of microservices architectures and scalable technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field/work experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader with a strong background in scalable architecture design emphasizing resiliency and performance.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex software delivery projects and navigate cross-functional and global teams.
- Domain experience preferred in commerce platforms, pricing, inventory systems, or travel and hospitality industries.
