About This Role
- Lead technical direction and architecture for large-scale, cloud-native and hybrid infrastructures supporting Disney Experiences platforms.
- Own reliability strategies including definition and monitoring of SLIs, SLOs, SLAs; lead incident response and continuous improvement efforts to maximize uptime and performance.
- Mentor and guide engineers, oversee automation and DevOps practices, collaborate cross-functionally to ensure secure, scalable, cost-effective platform operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 7 years experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related software development with a focus on large-scale distributed cloud systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE), Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, NodeJS, Golang, Bash, etc.), UNIX/Linux administration, networking (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS), observability tools and monitoring SLIs/SLOs.
