About This Role
- Lead and mentor software engineers within high performing delivery teams focusing on product, pricing, and offer systems for the core commerce platform.
- Co-own technical architectural direction with solutions architects, design API specifications, and oversee implementation, integration, and quality testing of complex Java-based services and user interfaces.
- Collaborate across global tech and business teams to ensure delivery and sustainability of scalable cloud native (preferably AWS) applications and digital optimization for customer facing web and mobile experiences.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience including full stack with Java, Spring Framework, SQL & NoSQL databases.
- 7+ years managing engineering and technology delivery teams, preferably in a globally distributed agile environment.
- Experience with cloud native applications (preferably AWS), microservices architectures, scalable system architecture design, and resilient/performance-focused solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field; work experience may substitute education.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader capable of both hands-on development and strategic architectural decision-making in commerce-related complex systems.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale, globally distributed engineering teams using Agile methodologies.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator familiar with navigating complex organizations and delivering on-time, on-budget technology initiatives.
