About This Role
- Lead the design, build, and support of security policies and development pipelines focused on Edge Security for Disney Experiences brands.
- Drive DevSecOps culture and collaborate with Global Information Security teams to ensure compliance with corporate security standards and audit requirements.
- Engineer and maintain high reliability, security, performance, and capacity management of large-scale distributed systems with monitoring and operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, AWS CodeBuild, Azure DevOps), configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Chef), and proficient UNIX/Linux administration skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), programming languages (Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, Go, Rust, C/C++), and security technologies including Web Application Firewalls and Akamai or similar CDN/security solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading technical projects focused on security and reliability in enterprise-scale environments.
- Proficient in observability principles and root cause analysis of large-scale distributed systems including strong troubleshooting across systems, network, and code.
- Comfortable collaborating closely with Security Operations teams and driving security best practices in fast-paced, agile environments supporting global product launches and brands.
