About This Role
- Lead technical delivery and architectural decisions for Java backend services, React frontend applications, AWS cloud infrastructure, and DevOps processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs, backend integrations, and cloud-native applications leveraging AWS Lambda and microservices.
- Manage and mentor distributed engineering teams, oversee CI/CD pipelines, production support, and ensure application security, performance, and reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years professional software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java backend development, REST API design, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud-native development including AWS Lambda.
- Working knowledge of React.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, relational databases including SQL optimization, and experience with CI/CD, Docker, and deployment automation.
- Ability to operate with overlapping US business hours; Location: Remote, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader comfortable both contributing hands-on code and making architectural decisions in distributed, cloud-based environments.
- Strong background in designing secure, scalable microservices and serverless applications integrating backend Java services with React frontends.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor geographically dispersed teams, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and communicate technical trade-offs effectively.
