About This Role
- Perform stability, regression, and reliability testing for mobile handsets/products.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated test harnesses for product testing.
- Use test execution and defect tracking tools like QC to analyze failures and document results.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in product testing or mobile handset testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing, test harness development, and QC tools for defect management.
- Basic scripting/programming knowledge such as Python is preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience specifically with Android or mobile device testing and knowledge of ADB and log analysis.
- Familiarity with stability, stress, soak, and regression testing environments.
- Ability to work closely with software and hardware teams to perform root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
