About This Role
- Design and develop scalable control architectures for gas turbine and combined-cycle plants ensuring performance validation under varied operating conditions.
- Lead migration and upgrade projects from Mark V to ABB control systems including I/O mapping, logic conversion, and functional validation.
- Oversee integration with electrical and instrumentation systems along with supporting FAT, SAT, international commissioning, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and cybersecurity requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in power plant automation, especially gas turbine control with GE Mark V and ABB Symphony Plus preferred.
- Strong proficiency in control logic design, PLC/DCS programming, HMI development, and relevant communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, IEC 61850).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
- Work Experience Required: 8-12 years in relevant domain. Certifications like ABB Control Systems, Cybersecurity for ICS, and PMP are preferred but not mandatory.
