About This Role
- Own and customize HCL Commerce / IBM WebSphere Commerce 8.x store including business logic, catalog/order/user flow, and backend integration.
- Develop and maintain Java-based web services and REST APIs using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Implement and enhance front-end storefronts using JavaScript, React/Next.js, and TypeScript in production environments.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience (4+ years).
- 5+ years experience with HCL Commerce and/or IBM WebSphere Commerce v8.x.
- 5+ years Java development experience with J2EE on WebSphere Application Server.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, React/Next.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git source control.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in B2B, punchout, or mobile commerce business models with knowledge of headless/composable commerce.
- Proficient in Agile delivery using Atlassian tools and production-level front-end frameworks.
- Familiarity with related technologies like MuleSoft/iPaaS, search (Solr), caching (Redis), and CMS-driven storefronts enhances fit.
