About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using PostgreSQL and other RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Optimize and tune database performance including advanced SQL query development, stored procedures, and triggers, plus manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery operations.
- Collaborate across development, infrastructure, and business teams to support deployments, migrations, and implement monitoring and automation for database operations.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 - 6 years of work experience in database management and development.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and query optimization.
- Experience with C# / .NET Framework (ASP.NET Web Forms) for integrating database procedures with application layer.
- Work location: Pune (Hybrid).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL database administration and performance tuning using tools like pgAdmin, EXPLAIN ANALYZE, and SQL Profiler.
- Experience with database migration/versioning tools such as Flyway or Liquibase and version control systems like Git, SVN, or TFS.
- Ability to support enterprise-grade database deployments on Windows Server / IIS environments and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
