About This Role
- Define and implement test plans, cases, and scripts to validate firmware for Enterprise and Datacenter NVMe SSDs.
- Collaborate with firmware development teams throughout product lifecycle to identify defects and validate fixes via grey and whitebox tests.
- Communicate project status, issues, and strategy while driving defect resolution with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in SSD Firmware Validation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Linux debugging, Python coding, and knowledge of NVMe/PCIe protocols and specifications.
- Experience in creating test plans covering Front End, Back End, FTL, and Security firmware areas; ability to integrate tests into automated environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated expertise in whitebox and grey box test methodologies for Enterprise/Datacenter SSD firmware validation.
- Strong understanding of system storage stack including CPU, Memory, PCIe, OS, and firmware interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong planning, analytical, and communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
