About This Role
- Provide pre-sales technical systems engineering support to enterprise/commercial customers, focusing on network architecture and solutions for Data Centre and Campus networks in Western India.
- Architect, design, and propose Arista networking solutions including leaf-spine architectures, VxLAN, EVPN, and network overlays to capture additional sales opportunities.
- Conduct proof-of-concept validations, respond to RFP/RFQs, collaborate with product management and engineering, and represent Arista at industry events.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in BE/BS/CS/CE or equivalent technical degree.
- Minimum 10+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience focusing on Data Centre and Campus networks.
- Network Industry Certification preferred (e.g. CCIE (R&S), JNCIE).
- Expertise in routing and switching including L2/L3 protocols (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Aruba).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in pre-sales roles such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Network Consulting Engineer with demonstrated ability to engage technically and strategically with customers.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (Ethernet, RSTP/MSTP, VLANs, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, QoS) and network automation tools (Python, Ansible) is highly valued.
- Capable of producing technical documentation such as white papers and representing Arista at industry forums, indicating strong communication and thought leadership skills.
