About This Role
- Lead an agile feature team responsible for design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of microservices and batch components within Global Banking and Wholesale Loan Technology.
- Drive adoption and implementation of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes while establishing validation standards and promoting effective pattern reuse.
- Mentor engineers, facilitate agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, ensure code quality and best practices across CI/CD, observability, performance, reliability, and security.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.
- Proficient in Python and Java (Java 17+); strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices design patterns.
- Strong computer science fundamentals including OOAD, collections, concurrency/multithreading, and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools and knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced technical leader with end-to-end ownership from design through production support within agile banking or financial services technology environments.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture, CI/CD automation, observability, reliability, and secure coding practices.
- Familiar with commercial lending/loan servicing domain and related technologies (e.g., Kafka, ACBS platform) for a domain-aligned impact.
