About This Role
- Own and drive the AMR product roadmap across hardware, firmware, and robot software, setting performance and operating limits in mobility, navigation, docking, material handling, and fleet reliability.
- Establish and improve validation processes to prove robot reliability before deployment, converting field failures into systematic verification improvements.
- Lead and grow the robotics product management team, prioritizing reusable platform features and collaborating closely with engineering and operations to deliver measurable outcomes.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-10 years experience in robotics, industrial automation, or autonomous systems with both engineering depth and product ownership.
- Experience owning reliability, validation, deployment risk, or field performance across multiple customer deployments.
- Technical understanding of sensors, motion control, power systems, navigation stack, and system integration to critically evaluate engineering and vendor trade-offs.
- Work Experience Required: 8-10 years in relevant fields as specified.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strategic product leader capable of balancing complex multidisciplinary technologies (mechanical, electrical, software) and prioritizing scalable platform capabilities over bespoke solutions.
- Experienced in refining gated hardware development processes and enforcing strict go/kill decision criteria under pressure.
- Familiar with AMR or autonomous vehicle fleet operation, including exposure to functional safety standards, pre-deployment testing, and telemetry/logging data analysis for continuous product improvement.
