About This Role
- Manage general accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L accounts, investigate variances, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues during month-end close.
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives through automation and digital tools to enhance efficiency and reporting productivity.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Typically requires 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with general accounting and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including month-end close.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel; exposure to automation/digital tools like Power Query, Power BI, Macros, or Power Automate is preferred.
