About This Role
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native data pipelines processing clinical and operational healthcare data at scale.
- Modernize and transform legacy healthcare integrations into secure, scalable, event-driven and API-based data platform components.
- Ensure production reliability with monitoring, alerting, data lineage, security, and compliance adherence in a healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years data engineering experience; at least 2 years building cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong Python, SQL skills plus distributed data processing experience with Apache Spark or Databricks.
- Experience with cloud storage/lakehouse technologies (e.g. S3, ADLS, Delta Lake) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, X12/EDI is required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using tools like Airflow and dbt within cloud platforms.
- Skilled in improving data quality, master data management, and operating production data platforms with strong governance and security controls.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with architecture, data governance, QA, and product teams to deliver compliant healthcare data solutions.
