About This Role
- Develop and maintain complex software systems primarily using C and C++ with multi-thread/multi-process architectures.
- Design and implement tools and built-in diagnostics to accelerate development, support reliability, and enable debugging.
- Analyze and troubleshoot system scalability, intercommunication issues, and customer site problems involving physical layer communication protocols (e.g., Serial, Ethernet, CAN).
Minimum Requirements
- 8 - 15 years of professional experience in software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) mandatory.
- Strong expertise in C, C++ programming and operating systems including Linux, VxWorks, and QNX.
- Experience with multi-threading, IPC, Linux environment, and familiarity with IP protocols, physical layer devices, and tools like Jira.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced working on distributed architecture software systems involving various communication protocols (Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, etc.).
- Capable of root cause analysis and resolving complex system integration and interworking challenges.
- Skilled in designing diagnostic and test code to improve system supportability and reliability under real-world operational conditions.
