About This Role
- Design and develop core components of Oracle's Virtual Cloud Network focusing on high-speed packet processing and distributed systems for networking features.
- Lead system design for scalability, reliability, and performance, including fault-tolerant architectures and large-scale data processing.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards, telemetry, and participate in operational troubleshooting and incident management to ensure service reliability.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering or related experience.
- Proficient programming skills in C/C++ and expertise with Linux.
- Experience in network protocol implementation or network packet processing, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in developing scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems in cloud infrastructure or similar environments.
- Strong background in network protocol development and high-performance packet processing.
- Proven ability to lead system design and mentor others, working effectively in agile and collaborative settings.
