Tier-1 brand, metro location, and mid-level seniority but niche OT security specialization moderates applicant density.
Role requires specialized OT/ICS protocols, industry frameworks, and platform experience, limiting cross-industry transferability.
Mandatory OT/ICS experience, IEC 62443/NIST frameworks, and hands-on Claroty/Nozomi/Armis skills make filters stringent.
Lead comprehensive OT security assessments and develop tailored risk and remediation plans aligned with industry frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIS 2, and NERC CIP.
Design and implement secure OT network architectures, including deployment and tuning of OT security platforms like Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Armis, and Cisco, and manage secure remote access solutions.
Develop and operate OT-specific security operations processes including 24/7 SOC support, incident response playbooks, continuous monitoring, and vulnerability management for industrial control systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
5-10 years of IT/OT security experience, with at least 5 years focused on industrial control systems security.
Hands-on experience with at least two OT security platforms (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Armis, Cisco Cyber Vision).
Deep knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC UA, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and relevant security standards (IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIS 2, NERC CIP).
Experienced in managing complex OT security projects and capable of translating technical security concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Proficient in designing secure OT network architectures that address IT/OT convergence and defense-in-depth strategies.
Familiarity with global industrial security regulations and operating in multi-sector environments such as manufacturing, energy, and critical infrastructure.
