About This Role
- Optimize and adapt Gen AI models for edge platforms through quantization, pruning, distillation, and fine-tuning.
- Develop and invent new optimization techniques based on Amazon’s Neural Edge Engine architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compiler engineers, hardware architects, and product teams to deliver ML solutions for Amazon Devices.
Minimum Requirements
- PhD, or Master's degree with 4+ years experience in CS, CE, ML or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience building models for business applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with algorithms, numerical optimization, data mining, or related computational fields.

- Demonstrated ability to publish or patent research in top-tier conferences or journals, indicating strong research and innovation skills.
- Experience integrating ML models with hardware and software systems for production level deployment.
- Skilled in interdisciplinary approaches combining deep learning, scientific computing, and optimization to advance next-gen AI models on edge devices.
