About This Role
- Define and lead validation strategies including test plans, test cases, and automation for NAND-based SSD firmware across multiple validation domains (functional, system, performance, reliability, interoperability, customer qualification).
- Drive validation efforts throughout the entire product lifecycle collaborating across firmware, hardware, systems, product engineering, and hyperscale customers to improve product quality and reduce qualification cycle times.
- Leverage AI and automation technologies to enhance validation productivity, quality, and time-to-market while mentoring engineers on AI adoption and best validation practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience in Embedded Firmware, Storage Systems, or SSD Validation Engineering; 4+ years preferred specifically in SSD Firmware Validation.
- Strong expertise in SSD architecture, NAND Flash, NVMe, PCIe, OCP Cloud SSD, and related storage protocols.
- Experience developing and executing comprehensive automated validation plans using tools like Medusa, SanBlaze, OakGate, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

- Experienced technical leader capable of driving complex validation programs and collaborating cross-functionally with hyperscale/cloud customers and engineering teams.
- Strong background in applying AI/ML techniques, generative AI tools, and data-driven automation to engineering processes to increase efficiency and quality.
- Pragmatic problem solver with strong debugging skills across Linux and Windows environments, well-versed in storage platform architectures, and able to deliver measurable improvements in validation throughput and product quality.
