About This Role
- Lead complex, companywide technology initiatives impacting mainframe systems, specifically Hogan.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineering teams focused on mainframe and Hogan framework development.
- Own delivery standards, technical strategy translation from Hogan constraints, and collaborate on system implementations including change management and process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of strong experience leading mainframe teams.
- Technical skills required: expertise in COBOL and Hogan framework, mainframe programming with knowledge of Assembler and mainframe APIs, and experience in AI-assisted coding tools.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams and managing project delivery timelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling business-critical mainframe/Hogan paths with a focus on operational risk and performance optimization.
- Able to enforce delivery quality standards, perform technical mentorship, and drive predictability and risk reduction in projects.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for software engineering tasks and capable of translating complex business requirements into technical solutions in a mainframe environment.
