About This Role
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team including Developers, Data Engineers, and DevOps with focus on coaching, career development, and performance management.
- Own the design and evolution of internal platforms/tools used by multiple product teams, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
- Drive hiring, stakeholder alignment, and cross-team collaboration with clear communication of technical trade-offs to both engineering and business leaders.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-15 years of industry experience building and operating cloud-based products or platforms.
- 2-4+ years of experience in people management roles leading engineering teams, preferably in Developer & Data Engineering domains.
- Strong hands-on expertise in modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and observability tools.
- Proven background in designing or evolving internal platforms, with solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals such as APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader skilled at creating cultures of ownership and psychological safety to empower engineering teams to innovate and improve platforms.
- Strong communicator capable of managing multiple stakeholders and driving alignment across diverse teams and business functions.
- Demonstrated success in platform engineering or developer productivity roles, ideally with prior Staff/Principal Engineer or Tech Lead experience before management.
