About This Role
- Lead design and evolution of scalable test automation frameworks for front-end and back-end components using technologies like Node.js, WebdriverIO, Python, and pytest.
- Develop and maintain high-value automated test suites transforming manual coverage with a focus on speed, reliability, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and manage testing of complex integrations with diverse endpoints and APIs.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer in Test with hands-on automation framework development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages for writing production-quality test code.
- Experience with modern testing tools and frameworks such as Node.js, WebdriverIO, Selenium, Jasmine/Mocha, pytest, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Docker.
- Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP), integrations involving databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle), CRM/ERP systems, and cloud/SaaS platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile/Scrum teams as an embedded quality engineer influencing design and testability early in the development lifecycle.
- Capable of handling complex integration testing involving multiple technologies and distributed systems typical in iPaaS or SaaS environments.
- Demonstrates technical curiosity and independence in understanding vendor API documentation and automation tooling, with strong communication skills for remote collaboration across time zones.
