Common NOC title, mid-level experience range, metro location, and broad monitoring skillset increase hiring competition.
Core NOC and cloud skills transfer across industries, though healthcare compliance preference raises domain specificity.
Explicit years, specific monitoring/cloud tool experience, and shift/availability requirements make shortlisting moderately strict.
Provide 24/7 monitoring and incident response for healthcare SaaS platforms using observability tools like DataDog, Appdynamics, and PagerDuty.
Perform initial triage, execute runbooks for issues such as application restarts and certificate renewals, and escalate incidents appropriately to maintain platform stability.
Coordinate with engineering, SRE, and service delivery teams during major incidents and maintain accurate incident documentation and shift handoff notes.
1–3+ years experience in NOC, IT operations, technical support, or similar monitoring roles.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Appdynamics, ELK, New Relic, or similar) and incident management platforms (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow, PagerDuty).
Moderate understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with certifications like AWS SysOps Associate or equivalent preferred.
Must be willing to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 follow-the-sun operations model; eligibility to work on U.S. federal contracts required.
Experienced with healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA, CMS compliance) and ITIL v4 Foundation certification is a plus.
Comfortable using remote access (SSH, CLI, AWS Console) and managing containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to follow technical runbooks under pressure and maintain effective communication during incidents and handoffs.
