About This Role
- Lead design and development of highly scalable, distributed, cloud-native platforms primarily using Python (3.11+), FastAPI, and asynchronous microservices within the Order Management ecosystem.
- Drive architectural decisions, engineering best practices, and ensure delivery of low-latency, high concurrency systems with integration of AI agents for product innovation.
- Own AWS cloud deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and full-stack observability while mentoring engineering teams and influencing cross-functional collaboration.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility in distributed environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python including FastAPI, AsyncIO, REST API design, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, Lambda, SNS/SQS, RDS), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior technical leader with deep expertise in asynchronous Python and event-driven architectures for real-time, high throughput systems.
- Experience architecting and scaling cloud-native microservices in enterprise-grade environments, particularly in supply chain or order management domains (implied).
- Strategic thinker able to leverage AI tools in software development lifecycle and influence technical direction across multiple teams and regions.
