About This Role
- Own and drive QA automation strategy and execution for web applications, APIs, backend, and integration testing.
- Design, develop, maintain scalable test automation frameworks and automated test suites using Python, Pytest, Playwright, and modern best practices like Page Object Model.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and adopt AI-driven QA tools, while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring release readiness and defect prevention.
Minimum Requirements
- 7–12+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
- Proficiency in Python programming with deep experience in Pytest and Playwright frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with REST API automation testing, SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis).
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience owning end-to-end QA automation strategy in complex web and distributed system environments.
- Strong technical skills in building scalable, maintainable test frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Playwright, with a focus on reliability and best design practices.
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating cross-functionally including developers, product owners, and DevOps in Agile/Scrum settings.
