About This Role
- Perform independent quality checks and develop methods to measure quality and performance of functional testing processes, supporting payment origination applications and API integration.
- Coordinate testing and evaluation activities to identify issues, trends and gaps in programs and provide independent assessments to management.
- Create test plans and strategies in collaboration with testing leads, including defining scope and test data needs, updating testing metrics daily, and leading defect or testing meetings when required.
Minimum Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience testing Enterprise applications.
- Experience with automation testing for backends and UI, functional and API (REST & SOAP) testing.
- Proficiency in Java (preferred) and Python, with knowledge of OOPS concepts, and experience with test automation tools like Selenium and Postman.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, defect tracking tools like Jira, and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI or Jenkins.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies for enterprise payment origination and API-integrated applications.
- Skilled in both manual and automated testing with strong programming knowledge (Java, Python) and hands-on use of automation/testing frameworks and tools.
- Able to work cross-functionally with developers, product teams, and QA, coordinate multiple testing workstreams, and communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders.
