About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable OT data pipelines from windfarm SCADA systems to Polaris cloud data lake ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps best practices to enable secure, efficient deployment and operation of data solutions.
- Lead resolution of complex production issues, guide architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and act as SME for OT data collection and complex dataflows.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 12+ years experience in data engineering with cloud-based data platforms.
- Proven senior/lead data engineering experience including mentoring and independent complex system management.
- Mandatory skills: SQL, Data Integration, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, MQTT, Microsoft Azure, CI/CD, DevOps, Git.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in operating within OT data environments, especially those integrating multiple data sources for analytics and reporting.
- Comfortable leading in complex, high-volume data pipeline environments with focus on secure data transmission and cyber security requirements.
- Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability balanced with mentoring capabilities, and experience with cloud certifications like Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar.
