About This Role
- Provide hands-on Tier-2 production support for Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) including installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise Hadoop environments.
- Implement and automate security, regulatory compliance checks, and platform performance optimization including troubleshooting Spark, Hive, and YARN jobs.
- Develop and maintain containerization solutions using Kubernetes/OpenShift and build automated CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD, emphasizing Python-based automation.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant work experience; 10+ years of hands-on Tier-2 production experience with Cloudera explicitly mentioned.
- Strong Cloudera/CDP administration expertise, including experience with CDP 7.1.9 or later versions.
- Proficient in automation tools and scripting languages: Shell, Terraform, Groovy, Ansible, and Python preferred for automation.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Podman, Docker) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
