About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Manage data modeling, querying, and optimization in Azure Cosmos DB, and support application hosting and deployment on Azure App Service and Azure Function Apps.
- Perform full SDLC activities including code reviews, troubleshooting, defect and root cause analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise backend/cloud solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in backend and cloud-based application development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and Azure Cosmos DB.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Work Experience Required: Over 10 years in relevant backend/cloud development roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in distributed services or microservices-based architectures with enterprise backend/cloud applications.
- Skilled in collaboration with stakeholders, architects, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Familiar with Azure ecosystem including API Management, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and DevOps practices.
