About This Role
- Define and lead validation strategies and automated test frameworks for NAND-based SSD firmware across functional, performance, reliability, and customer qualification domains.
- Drive validation activities throughout the product lifecycle including development, qualification, customer enablement, and sustaining support, collaborating with firmware, hardware, systems, and hyperscale customers.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance validation productivity, quality, and time-to-market while mentoring teams on best practices and AI adoption.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience in Embedded Firmware, Storage Systems, or SSD Validation Engineering; 4+ years specifically in SSD Firmware Validation is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in NVMe, PCIe, OCP Cloud SSD specifications, SSD architecture, and NAND Flash technologies.
- Proficiency in test automation, Linux and Windows debugging, and use of storage validation tools and continuous integration systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader able to drive complex technical validation issues to closure across multiple organizations and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong focus on integrating AI/ML tools in validation workflows for improving efficiency, quality analytics, and automation in a large-scale engineering environment.
- Deep domain knowledge of SSD architecture, storage protocols, and hyperscale/datacenter compute environments with demonstrated customer-facing engagement.
