About This Role
- Own end-to-end manual and automated testing for web applications, emphasizing automation with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Drive test strategy, automation framework enhancement, and continuous quality improvement to reduce production defects and ensure reliable product releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle, covering functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software testing with hands-on Selenium WebDriver automation using Java.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with API testing (REST and SOAP) using Postman and/or SoapUI and strong database testing skills including SQL queries.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, and automation execution within DevOps pipelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks (Data-Driven, Hybrid, POM) in Agile environments.
- Strong backend validation skills and troubleshooting in Unix/Linux environments, capable of supporting CI/CD driven releases.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, performance testing tools, and emerging AI-assisted testing methods preferred but not mandatory.
