About This Role
- Review and process customer contracts and sales orders in NetSuite to ensure accurate revenue accounting and billing.
- Partner with Sales and Legal teams during contract negotiations to identify risks related to revenue recognition and discounting.
- Prepare and reconcile financial entries related to deferred revenue, AR, commissions, and ensure integrity of general ledger and receivables transactions.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a global, US-headquartered company with expertise in general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 exposure is a plus).
- Proficiency with NetSuite required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience operating within US GAAP frameworks and handling complex revenue recognition issues, especially ASC 606.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to resolve financial discrepancies and maintain GL integrity.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales and Legal teams in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
