About This Role
- Own end-to-end financial management and accurate bookkeeping for Mauritius retail operations using Zoho Books.
- Ensure statutory compliance including VAT returns, tax filings, and coordinate audit support with Mauritius auditors and consultants.
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, track inventory and sales trends, and coordinate with store staff, vendors, and international teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with international or multi-currency exposure.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance plus CA Inter, CMA Inter, or ACCA qualification.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books and MS Excel; strong knowledge of international accounting principles and regulatory frameworks.
- Good communication skills in English; ability to work independently with remote coordination.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling accounting and compliance for foreign or multi-country entities, especially Mauritius operations.
- Detail-oriented with capability to manage statutory compliance and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants effectively.
- Comfortable working remotely while coordinating with international teams and local store staff.
