About This Role
- Lead and grow the Web Platform engineering team responsible for core web application tooling and clients including web app, Electron desktop client, browser extension, and CLI.
- Own team hiring, development, goal-setting, sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and issue escalation related to production and customer issues.
- Serve as primary liaison with Design, Product, Architecture, and engineering teams to align priorities, improve processes, and ensure delivery of secure, stable web platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience leading engineering teams or complex cross-functional product initiatives in software engineering.
- Experience managing distributed or cross-regional engineering teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong knowledge of Agile development, engineering practices, and product delivery lifecycles.
- Technical background in CI/CD, automation, and release engineering; formal management training or certifications preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading globally distributed software engineering teams within Product Engineering or Centers of Excellence environments.
- Able to influence multiple stakeholders and lead delivery across engineering organizations with a coaching-oriented leadership style.
