About This Role
- Design, build, version, and maintain reusable connectors linking client data sources to NIQ's measurement pipelines with high reliability.
- Manage connector lifecycle including tracking API changes, schema drift, backward-compatible updates, and deprecation.
- Build and monitor production data pipelines and instrument logs, metrics, and alerts to ensure client pipeline health and proactive issue detection.
Minimum Requirements
- 6–9 years of experience in data/integration engineering, connector development, or backend engineering with extensive third-party API work.
- Strong Python programming skills and SQL for data validation and transformation.
- Experience with REST API integration including authentication, pagination, rate-limiting, and schema handling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in production-scale ETL/orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and version control with Git for multi-client connectors.
- Skilled in building observability and reliability tooling (logs, metrics, alerts) to maintain production health.
- Familiar with Docker for packaging connectors and comfortable managing connector lifecycle in a complex, multi-tenant environment.
