About This Role
- Own backend systems end-to-end from design to production with focus on scalable, maintainable architecture.
- Design and evolve distributed systems, managing microservices, tenancy, and data access patterns.
- Optimize backend performance and infrastructure costs through query optimization, caching, and system design.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5 years of software engineering experience with strong backend fundamentals.
- Proficient in Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript with production experience in Spring/Spring Boot or Node.js.
- Experience with SQL databases (schema design, indexing, query optimization) and understanding of NoSQL concepts.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP or equivalent). Based in Bengaluru with willingness to work from office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer comfortable working across Java/Spring and Node.js technologies as needed.
- Strong system design skills with practical focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability in distributed systems.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally and integrate AI tools effectively in engineering workflows.
