About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and tools for search and match platform services.
- Lead and mentor the test automation team, providing technical solutions and ensuring best QA automation practices.
- Drive API automation, backend testing, and contribute to performance, security, and scalability testing for microservices-based products.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of total work experience, including Lead SDET level experience.
- Minimum 2 years working with search platforms like Solr and modern search architectures.
- Proficient in API test automation with tools such as Karate, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Java, BDD.
- Experience with scripting languages (Java, C#, Python), source control (GIT, SVN), and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in search and relevance technologies including vector databases and semantic search tools (e.g., Azure AI Search, Pinecone).
- Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in search, ranking, and re-ranking algorithms.
- Comfortable operating in agile, multi-project environments, focusing on scalable and fault-tolerant distributed microservices.
