About This Role
- Manage a team responsible for incident management, observability, availability, and security for 4000+ applications across Disney Experiences.
- Oversee budget, forecasting, and financial processes in MyPPM to ensure financial integrity of the Site Reliability Engineering function.
- Lead DevSecOps evolution, deliver development pipelines, automate infrastructure, build monitoring telemetry, and manage systems security aligned with compliance standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of related work experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Gitlab, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, Azure DevOps) and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Chef).
- Location requirement: Bangalore, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader in implementing observability and reliability practices in complex, large-scale systems.
- Strong in managing cross-functional engineering teams with focus on DevSecOps and security aligned to enterprise standards.
- Technical expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), container/serverless architectures, and web security/CDN solutions (preferably Akamai).
