About This Role
- Lead migration and modernization of data platforms to Google Cloud and AWS, building scalable cloud-based data infrastructure and pipelines.
- Develop and optimize real-time and batch data processing solutions supporting new product launches with high data quality and operational KPIs.
- Mentor data engineering team and collaborate with data science and product teams on solutioning and proof-of-concept development.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-9 years of experience in Data Engineering and Application Development.
- Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Python, Java, Spark, SQL, Scala, Snowflake, Big Query, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP).
- Experience in data platform engineering focusing on cloud transformation, building large-scale data pipelines, and knowledge of DevOps CI/CD and data governance.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in cloud migration and modernization initiatives with hands-on expertise in AWS and GCP environments.
- Capable of managing and scaling petabyte-level data pipelines with strong emphasis on platform engineering and automation.
- Proficient in integrating real-time data streaming solutions and working within Agile teams to deliver complex data products.
