About This Role
- Manage and verify the accuracy and integrity of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and environmental data for the British Council's global operations.
- Collect, cleanse, enter, and maintain carbon data on the Carbon Data Platform, producing regular reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with international offices and cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Estates, Travel, Digital) to support environmental performance improvement and meet reporting obligations such as carbon reduction plans and Greening Government Commitments.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year experience in carbon data analysis and reporting aligned with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Standard.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and AI tools.
- Must have natural right to work in India; no visa sponsorship or relocation support provided.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working in a global or multi-office environment managing carbon or environmental data.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage multiple IT systems and processes simultaneously.
- Comfortable operating in a 24/7 onsite shift-based environment with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
