About This Role
- Lead moderately complex software engineering initiatives including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation within banking and financial technology domains.
- Resolve technical challenges and act as escalation point, providing guidance to less experienced staff and collaborating with peers and mid-level managers.
- Contribute to large scale technology strategy planning and develop tools/utilities for banking applications leveraging Oracle Banking Payments and Liquidity Management modules.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent (work, training, military, education).
- 4+ years experience specifically in Flexcube domain, Corporate Banking, Oracle Banking Payments, or Oracle Banking Liquidity Management.
- Strong technical skills in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, Web Services, Microservices, DevOps (CI/CD), and automated testing tools (Selenium, Cucumber).
- Experience with banking modules including Core Banking, International Payments, Liquidity Management is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in handling moderately complex to complex development projects in banking technology with demonstrated leadership or guidance responsibilities.
- Proficient in Java-based application development within MVC architecture and knowledgeable in Oracle banking modules, capable of bridging technical and functional requirements.
- Skilled in automated testing and DevOps practices, with familiarity in cloud enablement, microservices, and emerging AI development tools like GitHub Copilot.
