About This Role
- Own and build core backend services enabling high-scale, global payment flows end-to-end from design to production.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to rapidly ship production-grade features using Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability; debug production issues and eliminate bottlenecks.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years experience as a backend engineer, preferably with end-to-end ownership in early-stage startups or small teams.
- Mandatory expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and MongoDB (non-negotiable tech stack).
- Strong backend fundamentals including API design, data modelling, system design, and distributed systems.
- Work Experience Required: 4-6 years

- Comfortable working in high-growth, high-ownership environments involving complex payment infrastructure across multiple countries and currencies.
