About This Role
- Provide technical leadership to sales and customers to solve business problems using the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
- Consult and implement proofs of concept in Big Data, data engineering, data science, ML, and SQL workflows, including cloud integrations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence the Databricks roadmap and develop architectures for strategic prospects and customers.
Minimum Requirements
- 15+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role.
- 10+ years experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark™, AI, Data Engineering, Hadoop, Cassandra.
- Experience with coding in Python, R, Java, Apache Spark™ or Scala and building distributed data systems.
- Role is hybrid based in Bengaluru with travel availability to customers in the region.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in consulting and customer-facing roles supporting diverse industry markets on complex data solutions.
- Demonstrated skill in partnering with sales teams to develop business and technical strategies.
- Technical expertise with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and proficient in open-source data tools (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow).
