About This Role
- Own and maintain infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery strategy across large multi-account AWS and hybrid environments (Azure, GCP, on-prem).
- Design, build, and automate cloud and on-prem infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, ensuring secure configurations and platform currency.
- Lead cloud infrastructure operations including monitoring, incident response, cost governance, and being primary on-call and L2 escalation point.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering experience with deep AWS expertise and experience in other clouds.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code skills (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation) and container/Kubernetes (EKS) lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with disaster recovery architecture and execution, Linux and Windows Server administration at scale, and IAM/cross-account access design.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell); experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines; Comfortable as primary on-call and L2 escalation for infrastructure incidents.

- Experienced in bridging on-prem virtualization with cloud-native deployments during active migrations and maintaining compliance controls.
- Technical leader capable of documenting operational runbooks, leading incident retrospectives, and driving continuous infrastructure improvement with AI-assisted engineering tools.
