About This Role
- Ensure operation, uptime, and reliability of Compute services and critical infrastructure.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain platform tools and automation to enhance performance and reduce toil.
- Provide mentorship to SRE engineers and collaborate across teams for monitoring, incident response, and product lifecycle input.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Golang plus scripting (bash).
- Experience with Linux administration, container platforms (Docker), config management (SaltStack, Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD (Jenkins), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure with strong reliability engineering focus.
- Skilled in automation and tooling development to improve service observability and reduce manual work.
- Capable of mentoring peers and influencing product design under service level objectives and incident conditions.
